The Mountainaire MA4000 Titanium Oxide Coated Filter works in cooperation with UV light rays to destroy VOCs; converting 95% of pollutants in the air to harmless water vapors, leaving your home smelling fresh and clean.
DO NOT WASH: There’s no need to clean the TiO2 Filter, because when the UV-C light hits the filter, it will release oxidizes into the air which will remove contaminants, odors, etc. Under normal conditions the TiO2 Filter should be replaced every 2 years.
